Enter your certification details, a reference, preferences for grade level and borough, and upload your resume and proof of certification.

The initial review can take two to four weeks. Once your application is accepted, it will be shared with principals via the New Teacher Finder.

Candidates will receive vacancy lists of positions that match their certification area and borough preferences. Candidates will also be invited to in-person and virtual networking events throughout the season.

Reach out to principals at your preferred schools with a short cover letter explaining your interest in the open role. You may be asked to complete an interview and a demo lesson at the school.

Once hired, you will get instructions on how to complete several tasks before your first day, like getting fingerprinted.
