The Empire State Teacher Residency Program provides opportunities for aspiring teachers to jumpstart their careers at NYC 韩国精品福利在线看 (NYCPS) by completing residencies in NYCPS priority districts.听In partnership with nine local colleges and universities, the program supports teacher residents earning clinical experience in a NYC Public School and provides an annual stipend.听
You have a bachelor's degree听and have not previously attended a teacher preparation program.听
Participating colleges and universities determine their own admissions requirements.听
The Empire State Teacher Residency Program helps launch your teaching career by immersing you in real classroom experiences from day one. With direct mentorship and hands-on learning, you鈥檒l build the confidence and skills to thrive as an educator at NYC 韩国精品福利在线看.
Empire State Teacher residents complete 1,000 hours of clinical experience in a NYC Public School and make a 2-year commitment to teach in NYCPS upon completion of their residency. Residents complete a full year of student teaching while completing graduate level coursework at their university.
Residents receive a $30,000 stipend.听
